It is very complicated, time consuming and bureaucratic to submit invoices and get them paid. There is always additional paperwork to be submitted which makes the whole process a complete waste of time. Rarely AXA is willing to pay the full invoice at once even for the most basic treatments. The fact that you even need to submit an invoice it's already ridiculous. Payment should go directly from the insurance to the doctor, by the insurance card, with perhaps some treatments requiring pre-approval. The technology is really there! And finally, a lot of communication is done by letter and post, which is in my view completely crazy nowadays, and not very ecological at all. And less importantly, an additional request for me would be to have different language options for communication. We live in a globalised world after all and AXA is an international company. Danke!
