1. Need to add English version for the application and support.
2. There's no way you could track the status of your application process online.
3. The online ID verification only works for Germans and expats with a different passport need to verify ID in person at their post office, even though they might have German residence permit or blue card, as the online verification doesn't accept those as valid ID even though it's done via online video chat with a real person!
4. The blood testing for priliminary health check up is currently requested to be done by your own house doctor which is an extra effort on insuree part but the rest of the check up is done at your own place by the insurance examiner.
5. They ask some additional docs like tax returns and statements if you say the reason of the insurance is for your survivors to financial carry on without your income, which is quiet unusual for a exapt as such info is usually considered confidential and you're not requesting a loan or financial assistance!
